I got a kick out of this, I picked up a 1959 TCA Quarterly. Here is the Interchange Point PAGE!! I wonder what the 1959 membership would think if they saw the vast tome that is delivered to my door?
I hope you can see the scan, I really like the innocence that these ads radiate. It was just such a different time. I didn't find much stuff about "standards committees". There was an awful lot about trains though.
The reason I picked it up is because it had a great article on American Flyer Standard Gauge Steam Engines. Really a nice and very informative piece.
