I want to add a loop of wide radius 2" gauge track, so it's time to expand the upper level on the layout. This is about it, though, I don't have anywhere else I can expand after this. It's nice for a city boy like me to live in a city twonhouse, but there are space limitations, and that's one of the tradeoffs you have to make if you want city living.

Hi Jim,
Will the new track run along the top of the girders you have added like an elevated line? There is some real potential here for interesting design. I'm looking forward to following your progress.

Jim,
your use of exposed perf L-Bracket makes me think of Chris Burden's new art exhibit Metropolis 2 at the LA Contemporary Museum of Art. You could be on to something.

Thanks for the link to the Metropolis 2 exhibit...I like it. I like the look of the steel L brackets on my layout...kind of a deco look is what I'm trying for.
