Mountain Railway Gondola

Posted by Picasa
Picked up this cute little Tucher and Walther Railway Gondola. I thought it looked more like one of those "transfer warehouses" from MTH. Whatever it is, I thought it was kind of neat. Has a little wheel on the other side to hitch up a little steam engine to make the cars go in and out of the buildings. Now I just have to make some layout space...

Check out this cool building...

I was visiting some customers the other day in Jersey City and I saw this building.... I've seen it a thousand times before; it is an old manufacturing building that has been converted and refurbished for different uses. It is a really glorious old building and will remind you of what it must have been like when the Blue Comet actually ran to Atlantic City and the Brute was only a few years old... Blow up the pics as well. You'll get the idea.

PS - The fascinating thing about this company is that it is still in business. No, not at this location. But they are still in business and still making the same stuff. Tell me this wouldn't be a great name/logo on the side of a boxcar?
