Just sitting in Cold Spring, hanging out and an Amtrak train came flying by. I caught the tail end of it. Funny thing, with all of the bad PR the Acela has generated, folks tend to forget that Amtrak runs a few other runs without the Acela. I kind of like seeing these trains, they're like old friends. I have been on them at least 20 times in the last 20 years and they were always comfortable.
Ok, ok, I'll get to the standard gauge!
