
Here's the 3rd Ives Plant in Bridgeport. Not the building with the pretty pictures, the parking lot. Are we starting to see a theme here? Seems like cars are stomping all over trains everywhere. Heck, there isn't a trolley track anywhere to be seen in one of the largest trolley cities in the country (or was).
Funny thing though, even with graft, over-runs and some costs adjusted for inflation, I bet a trolley ride still costs less the $2.50 for a gallon of regular unleaded.
