MTH European Trains...
Go check out the MTH website. In lieu of having the new Lionel Tinplate Catalog uploaded.... This new catalog of MTH European Trains is spectacular. I was a huge fan of European trains when I was a kid and when you go to Europe and ride on the modern and "not so modern" gear it is even more impressive.
Check out these trains and don't discount them one iota. They're a brilliant idea and at least one should grace your pike!

Nice to see real innovation in O gauge, and leave it to MTH! I'm personally waiting until they come out with a 1950's TEE...
I've noticed that most of your posts have few or no comments, and I think that's a real shame. There is almost no Standard Gauge presence on the internet. My dad and I are small time but dedicated collectors/operators, and I read your blog all the time- it's amazing but college hasn't quashed my interest in these great old toys, and they continue to be a source of bonding for father+son. Keep up the good work, you've got two big fans in us!
