Marc,
I put a loop of that track down a couple years ago. I used a piece of 1/2 inch plywood cut to the inside size of the curve that I wanted and then pulled the track to the cut. where you have the curved piece on top of the straight, I would cut the curve straight or square, and then mark the bottom piece to match the top piece. I used a strip of masking tape. dress all the cut ends and put the pins in and push together. Then predrill the holes for the screws and screw down. Any rail gaps are corrected and tightened by using a block of wood to drive the connected rails together from the oposite end. Then start the next piece. I used the 2 inch cut off wheels and arbor that gargraves sells on my dremel to cut the rails. Email me with any other questions,
Maybe I can help.
