I never knew McCoy made a girls train. I think this one is much nicer than the Lionel Girls Train.
It's kind of funny, my wife and I used to go to Redbank, NJ and hunt around antique stores. I saw tons of McCoy sets, mint in their original boxes and I never thought anything of it (this was just 10 years ago). I was always hunting for that hidden 408 and 1912.
Now I'm at the "what were you thinking" stage. The really cool stuff was right there.
They weren't dirt cheap but they weren't terribly expensive either. Now that I see this collection, I think I screwed up!

My favorite place was the big red building on the corner of W. Front Street and N. Bridge Ave..... I miss that place.

I liked that little movie theatre right on main street. Was absolutely puny but the movies were great and I enjoyed the smaller crowd.

I grew up going to Danny's Pizza / Italian restaurant every Friday night for years... We started pretty much when it opened. In fact, there's a picture that used to hang in there of my family posed by the piano. I think the picture moved upstairs to the office, but I was like 7 years old when it was taken. I think it's Danny's Steakhouse now.... ah but the memories.

I never had the pizza there but my wife and I ate there before my son was born. It's right on the corner. Really, the neat thing about Red Bank is that it is still a neat small town. It's changed hands a bit but it still is charming. My wife and I tend to zip by there now, my kids set their sites on Wildwood. Heck, we don't even get to go to Atlantic City anymore...
