Al also sent me this scan. This is from the 1927 Lionel catalog. If you look right behind all that standard gauge, there is an engine house that was never produced by Lionel.Fortunately Smith MetalWorks did produce it and now I'm anxious to find one.
Thanks for the research Al, this is one of the details in standard gauge that people miss (like me) that turn into something special. A unique accessory like this can't be overlooked!
