Ok, so while I am posting my last Youtube video I saw this video. This has got to be one of the craziest floor layouts I have ever seen! I'd love to do something like this on my floor in my house however between animals, kids and a psychotic spouse I'd be dead in under 10 minutes. Just watch this wonderful MTH Comet go through its' paces....

Thank you for posting my video and for your comments. With a remodel planned I knew this Christmas 2007 layout would be the last for a few years. The layout is a double figure 8 that crosses over itself. Two double pairs of switches allow a train traveling in either direction to reverse direction easily. I made this video after I had begun to slowly dismantle the layout. To see the layout complete take a look at some of the other videos I posted that show the layout complete with bridges, tunnels, stations, siding tracks and lots of parked engines and freight and passenger cars. There are also some videos showing night running. Being without trains for a couple years will be worth the wait. When they all come out of their boxes I'll have a 25' square space for a permanent layout and a 10' X 30' adjacent space 1/2 level below, which should make for some interesting multi level possibilities. Thanks again. John Toczek, Seattle ("Wetland1955")
I really enjoyed your floor layout. The part where the loco and consist travel under the table reminded me of my youth when we made our tunnels and mountains out of mom's furniture.
