Grand Central around the turn of the century. Can you imagine seeing this as Josh Cowen or one of the Ives family? The current Grand Central is really something but I can't recall ever seeing anything like this! Posted by Hello

Ace Trains makes a glass-covered train platform for their O-gauge Tinplate line. It's small for Standard Gauge, but much larger than the Ives glass-domed "stations".

Philadelphia's Broad Street Station had a large glass-covered platform area. I believe it lasted until the 1940's when the modern 30th Street [through station rather than terminal station] opened. Well before my time, alas.
