Coldspring is an amazing place. No, this isn't yet another one of Marc's vacations. This is a place I have been coming since 1990 and it hasn't disappointed me once.
This place has a ton of history. George Washington and the troops stopped here at some point for a drink from the spring (hence the name, Cold Spring). This is not Cold Spring Harbor in Long Island, NY, this is Cold Spring in Putnam County, New York. It is very close to West Point and a ton of other historical sites as well as some really cool "off the beaten path" type places.
